My background sits at the intersection of human factors engineering and product management. I started my career in software testing and moved into HFE because I was drawn to the human side of how products succeed or fail. Since then I have worked across some of the most demanding product categories in medtech, from cardiac devices at St. Jude Medical to patient monitoring at Covidien to point-of-care diagnostics at Abbott to dialysis at Outset Medical.

I know what it takes to get a product through FDA submission. I understand EU MDR requirements. I have run formative studies, led summative validations, built HF programs from scratch, and translated messy user research into clear product decisions.
